Congratulations to the OP Golfing team who are enjoying another excellent season. In May they played in the Northern qualifying match to decide who would take part in the finals in September of the Grafton Morrish which is the major tournament of the Public Schools Old Boys Association. Pocklington finished runners-up to Sedbergh, ahead of ten other schools, including old rivals, Ampleforth, Hymers and St.Peters. The finals are over the weekend of the 25 September on the Brancaster and Hunstanton courses in Norfolk. Their first match is against Merchiston Castle.
