On Friday 16 May 2008 three artists were selected for representation by YCAT (The Young Concert Artists Trust) at the Public Final Auditions held at Wigmore Hall: the Heath String Quartet, Alexandra Dariescu (piano) and Pei-Jee Ng (cello).

A total of eight finalists were heard, chosen from over 100 applicants in the preliminary rounds so be one of the three selected for the award is a fantastic achievement - well done Alex!

Alex and the other newly selected artists can be heard in a YCAT Presentation Concert on Monday 29 September 2008 at 7.45 pm at the Purcell Room, London, supported by the Musicians Benevolent Fund, and at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester in 2009 supported by The Manchester Mid-Day Concerts Society.  Contact the venues directly for more information.
